  How the CHI Model Has Been Replicated

 

Since Santa Clara County launched the first CHI in 2001 more than 30 additional counties, including a pair of four-county regional coalitions, have followed suit. Statewide, CHIs now insure roughly 86,000 children through locally offered Healthy Kids Coverage.
